Programme profile

With this degree in Innovation and Business you will be an aspiring inventor and entrepreneur. You will be the one who gets the brilliant ideas; and at the same time you will be able to realise them. During the programme you learn to create and market products based on engineering and business expertise. Whether you want to work in an existing business or start your own, we provide you with the principles of product development.

During the programme, you will become a member of a development team, who will work with every aspect of product innovation under the following headlines: Creativity, Innovation and Business Development The programme is taught using problem-based learning and project work.

The Mads Clausen Institute is capable of supporting the realisation of your ideas, and will help identifying investors and companies able to contribute to the process.

Year 1: Themes: Creativity; Innovation; Business Development

Years 2 & 3: User-Centred Design; Product Software; Electronic Hardware; Mechatronics; Management ; Marketing: Economics; Mathematical Modelling

The university offers related Masters programmes, taught through English, in the following areas:

Also, note that all engineering students at SDU Sønderborg, are guaranteed your first job when they finish their BEng studies

Entry Requirements

General Certificate of Education (with examination in 8 subjects where at least 3 are A-levels, alternatively 2 A-levels + 2 AS-levels, 1 A-level + 4 AS-levels. Subjects to include Maths and Physics
